We all have periods of time in our lives where we experience struggle. The intensely painful feeling that we are unworthy of love and belonging and the constant comparison between ourselves and others can make navigating life difficult. We all need someone who will listen, validate and be a part of our many emotions depending on what's happening in our lives at this very moment. It is my belief that we are all capable of cultivating our best selves when we take the time to dig deep into what it is that is keeping us from authenticity.
Asking for help takes a lot of courage. My approach with clients begins in a safe environment free of judgement and comparison. Feeling safe is essential to being able to tell your story so that you are able to move through the challenges that brought you here.
A large part of my work with clients is based on the shame resilience research of Brene Brown. My goal is to give you the tools you need to meet your treatment goals, foster shame resiliency and practice self-compassion in order to live a wholehearted life. Some of the issues I specialize in are:
difficult life transitions
issues related to self-worth and shame
struggling with anxiety or depression
grief and loss
